Sling Mount Kit
The Magpul Sling Mount Kit referenced above ($14.95) is a slick little accessory that mounts in a cut-out that passes through the SGA stock just forward of the sling loops. It can be installed on either side of the stock and accepts any Type 1 push-button QD sling swivel. Its heavy-duty, black phosphated steel construction guarantees a lifetime of trouble free use, and it installs quickly and easily with all the necessary hardware provided. No push-button QD sling swivel is included.
SGA Receiver Sling Mount
The SGA Receiver Sling Mount ($19.95) is a solid connection point for one-point, clip-in style attachments such as the Magpul MS3 Paraclip, the HK hook, ITW MASH hook and others. It’s made from Melonite-treated, precision-cast steel for wear and corrosion resistance. The Receiver Sling Mount is a dedicated fit for the SGA Stock that can be installed on either the left or right side at the receiver end of the stock.
Forward Sling Mount
The Forward Sling Mount ($29.95) is a dual-purpose sling attachment point that clamps onto the 870’s barrel and extended magazine tube. On one side is the same clip-in style attachment featured on the SGA Receiver Sling Mount, and on the other side is a QD sling mount cup that will accept any Type 1 push-button QD sling swivel. It can be installed so that either of the attachment points is on the desired side of the gun. It’s made from precision cast steel that is Melonite treated, and includes all mounting hardware. No push-button QD sling swivel is included.
MOE Illumination Kit
Magpul’s MOE Illumination Kit ($19.95) includes everything needed to mount a 1913 Picatinny rail-compatible weapon light, laser or light/laser combination on the MOE Forend (or any MOE AR handguard). The four-piece kit includes a short rail section, cantilever rail mount, two Surefire optimized pressure-switch pad mounts (both old and new styles), and all mounting hardware. We used only the 3-slot cantilever rail section and mounted it in the left-side, forwardmost M-LOK slot in the MOE Forend, onto which we mounted an Insight Technology WL1-AA combination white-light/laser unit. The mount’s cantilever feature offset both the white-light beam and the laser beam far enough to the left side of the barrel that neither was obstructed by the Forward Sling Mount.
MS3 GEN2 Multi-Mission Sling
The MS3 GEN2 Multi-Mission Sling ($49.95) can be quickly changed from a one-point to a two-point configuration. It has a push-button QD sling swivel permanently attached to the rear end for one-point carry, and a Magpul Paraclip at the front end. The MS3 GEN2 Multi-Mission Sling is made from 1.25-inch wide, heavy-duty, black nylon webbing, and except for the addition of the QD sling swivel at the rear is identical to Magpul’s standard MS3 sling. This modification makes it compatible with the SGA Receiver Sling Mount as well as the QD sling cups commonly found on AR lower receivers, receiver end plates and buttstocks.
