Mossberg’s new 590M shotgun has a “magazine tube” that’s simply a runway for the slide. Shells are held in 5- 10-, 15- or 20-round detachable box magazines. Imagine the kinetic energy at hand with a 20-round magazine oaded with 2.75-inch 00 Buck loads. All detachable magazines include hardened steel feed lips and over-molded steel shell ramps to ensure efficient feeding, while ASTM-A-228 music-wire springs improve feeding, increase durability and prolong service life. Mossberg 590M magazines are the world’s first production, double-stack 12-gauge shotgun magazines. An all-steel magazine release button is positioned in front of the trigger guard for ambidextrous access. The magazines incorporate stabilizing ribs that engage the magazine directly to the receiver for secure lock-up every time. The 590M is designed around the Mossberg 590, time-tested over decades for dependable service. It’s features include dual extractors, twin action bars, positive steel-to-steel lockup, drilled and tapped receiver, ambidextrous safety and a heavy-walled barrel. Contact O. F.
