Safariland Schema

The all-new Schema holster is a reminder of why the Safariland brand has a long history of being an industry leader. Just when we thought minimalist IWB holsters couldn’t, well, become any more minimalistic, Safariland surprised the industry with its skeletonized Schema.

Current Schema fitments include the Glock 43/43x, SIG P365/P365XL, Springfield Hellcat, and Taurus G2C/G3C. At first glance, we estimated the holster would retail for around a hundred bucks, in line with most of its competitors, but we — like most others — were way off. This inside-the-waistband Schema ($40) features a minimalist design for enhanced concealment, with a smaller footprint compared to traditional inside-the-waistband holsters. Superior functionality and passive retention provide an exceptional platform for everyday carry for any right-handed user. That’s right, at the time of this writing, those born wrong-handed are out of luck, at least for now. For the rest of us blessed at birth, we’ll reap the benefits of optimized comfort and concealment and the ability to reholster our pistols without removing the holster first. Adjustable cant and ride height add to the list of product attributes that make the Schema deserving of your hard-earned dollars and our Editors’ Choice Award.
