After nearly 53 years in business and much forethought, MTM is finally ready to release its second rifle case — a rifle case with a twist, that is. MTM has expanded the dimensions of its extremely popular line of rifle crates, deepened them a bit, and created a compartment designed to fit a rifle up to 39 inches long. Just as you’d expect, the case is high-quality, will last for many years of regular use, and won’t leave your wallet wailing.

 The case closes tightly, thanks to MTM’s snap latch design, and your rifle is held securely in place, with two pieces of quality foam sandwiching its contents to further prevent movement while also dampening the inevitable impact (you are buying a hard case for a reason). The case is also fully lockable. Given the amount of ammunition, magazines, eye- and ear-protection, staple guns, targets, small steel targets, and other accessories needed for an eventful day at the rifle range, we have found the rifle crate allows us to bring everything we need in one protective, multiuse case. And, everything has its place thanks to thoughtful dividers. We absolutely love that our rifle fits nicely and cleanly within the top of the crate. This is one extremely well-thought-out package, of which we will be purchasing more of. Through extensive use, we’ve also discovered that a pair of modern sporting rifles can be crammed into the case if needed and is also long enough to accept tactical shotguns and shorter scoped rifles as well.
