Axeon recently sent us two new rifle scopes that were added to its line of value-priced optics, the first of which is the Axeon 2-7x32mm ($99.99). Built on a 1-piece, 1-inch diameter tube, machined aluminum tube, the Axeon 2-7x32mm provides a large, knurled magnification adjustment ring, 1/4 MOA windage and elevation adjustments, fully multi-coated lens surfaces and a matte black finish. The other model is the Axeon 3-9x44mm ($127.99). For many shooters, the 3-9X40mm represents the best magnification range for their typical hunting opportunities. The 3X setting offers a wide field of view, while the 9X setting is perfectly adequate for ranges well past 300 yards. Construction and features are similar to the 2-7x32mm model. Both provide the shooter with excellent light transmission, generous 3.75- to 4.0-inch eye relief, slip-resistant knurled turret covers, zoom ring and ocular bell ring, and lightweight construction.
