The thermal image is displayed through a 1024×768 AMOLED display — fast, vibrant, and highly detailed. he large top-mounted function-control buttons are right and left-handed friendly and are sufficiently large and tactile to be easily activated with gloved hands. A single, common 18650 battery powers the SLIM H35. The battery can be charged via a USB-C charging station or through the magnetic USB data transfer interface from which video and still images can also be downloaded.

Internally, the SLIM H35 is powered by a rechargeable 18650-style battery (included), which can be recharged via a USB-C charging station, or by using the magnetic charging/data transfer interface that does not require battery removal. The battery provides an operational runtime of up to 4.5 hours. Additionally, the optic supports recoil-activated video output, WiFi streaming, as well as traditional video and photo capture for users looking to record their hunts or long-range engagements for the gram.

Utilizing a return-to-zero quick-release mount, the SLIM H35 can be detached from the weapon for field scanning and then quickly reattached to make the shot — all without losing your point-of-impact. The magnesium alloy housing is built to take abuse yet remains relatively light at 18.70 ounces. Controls are intuitive and glove-friendly, placed on the top of the unit for easy access. A built-in stadiametric rangefinder allows for quick estimation of target distance using standard height assumptions (e.g., a 1.8-meter tall human or deer-sized target). Zeroing is made simple through a user-friendly digital interface with multiple reticle styles and color options.

Weighing in at just 18.7 ounces (without mount) and measuring 8.50 inches in length, the SLIM H35 lives up to its name. The magnesium alloy housing is IP67-rated, meaning it’s fully dustproof and waterproof for up to 30 minutes in 1 meter of water.

Recoil-activated video will automatically record video footage before and after a shot, ensuring the best part of your hunts are recorded. Up front, a manual fast-focus ring shrouds a 35mm lens with a wide field of view.
