Crimson Trace has been a major force in the laser sighting category since 1994, but they recently decided to expand their product line into a group of feature-rich, world class, magnifying tactical and sporting riflescopes. Each Crimson Trace riflescope incorporates advanced exterior and interior components designed by Crimson Trace engineers in Oregon. The new line features seven custom-designed reticles for specific applications with advanced features, backed full lifetime warranty. The new line of riflescopes consists of 5-, 3- and 2-series model lines consisting of a total of eleven models, priced from $499 to $1,999. The 5-Series includes a 3-24x56mm Tactical ($1,999), a 3-18x50mm Tactical ($1,799) and a 1-8x28mm Tactical ($1,499). The 3-Series is comprised of a 5-25x56mm Tactical (1,199), a 4-20x50mm Tactical ($1,099), a 1-8x28mm Sport ($999), a 1-5x24mm Tactical ($899) and a 6-24x56mm Sport ($849). The 2-Series includes a 4-16x50mm Sport ($749), a 3-9x40mm Sport ($499) and a 1-4x24mm Tactical ($599). Their individual features are beyond the scope of this article, but we can tell you that six feature 34mm tubes, while five have 30mm tubes, objective lens diameters run from 24mm to 56mm, seven different reticles are offered (six graduated in MILS and five in MOA) and overall weights range from 17.8 oz. to 34.9 oz.
