Mossberg 940 JM Pro Competition Autoloader
The new 940 JM Pro Competition Autoloader 12-gauge shotgun from Mossberg comes in two models: one with a black synthetic stock and the other in black multi-cam (both $1,015). Otherwise they are identical. Features include a 24-inch vent-rib barrel, 3-inch chamber, 9+1 round capacity, a set of Briley extended choke tubes and front fiber-optic sight. Stocks are fully adjustable for length of pull (13.0 to 14.5 inches), cast and drop. Overall length is 44.75 inches and empty weight is 7.75 pounds. The black-stocked model features a gold colored magazine tube extension collar, enlarged bolt handle, bolt release and trigger, while those parts are all matte blued on the multi-cam version, as are all other metal parts on both models. The “JM” in the gun’s name stands for World Champion competition shooter “Jerry Miculek.” Jerry doesn’t use crappy guns, so there’s no chance you’ll be disappointed. Contact O.F.
