InfiRay Outdoor BOLT TX60C Thermal Riflescope
If high-resolution is on the checklist, the latest BOLT thermal has it for days (err, nights)
Thermal weapon sights have come a LONG way in the past few years, and one of the movers and shakers in this segment is InfiRay Outdoor. The latest model in InfiRay Outdoor’s BOLT precision thermal riflescope family is the new TX60C 3-16x model. The top-dog TX60C features an impressive 1024×1024 sensor resolution and, like its TH50CV2 and TL35V2 siblings, is built around a 30mm main tube for a profile that matches a traditional riflescope. Not just for looks, its traditional tube ensures bolt-knob clearance on bolt-action rifles — something that can sometimes be problematic on the “square-body” type thermal sights. Correspondingly, the TX60C uses a circular 1.03”, 2560×2560 AMOLED display that transmits a clear and extremely detailed picture, and its 3x native magnification translates to better resolution at higher magnification levels.
The TX60C uses a combination of an internal USB-C rechargeable battery and a removable 18650 battery (two included) for an impressive run time while also creating the ability to hot-swap batteries in the field. The multi-function turret and switch panel are mounted atop the scope for ambidextrous operation; both are simple, intuitive, and easy to use with gloved hands. Other noteworthy features include built-in, recoil-operated video/audio recording, seven different color palettes and seven different reticle types to toggle through, and compatibility with a wireless Bluetooth laser rangefinder (sold separately) that displays directly on your screen and is capable of creating a firing solution using the onboard ballistic calculator. The TX60C comes with a 30mm cantilever QD scope mount, allowing you to easily pop it off and swap it out for your day optic.
