B&T USA Print-X VERS36 Ti Suppressor

The unicorn recipe

3D-printed, low-backpressure suppressors are the future, without question. What was once wizardry in manufacturing is now mainstream, leading to very advanced baffle designs that can only be produced through additive manufacturing (AKA: 3D printing). Performance, modularity, and value are what it takes to compete in today’s crowded suppressor market, and B&T USA has the recipe down. The new-for-2025 On Target Editors’ Choice Award-winning Print-X VERS36 Ti — an advanced, extremely-modular, multi-platform/caliber, 100-percent-Titanium 3D-printed suppressor with a flow-through baffle design — serves as proof.

At the core of the VERS36 Ti is an advanced RBS (Reduced Backpressure System) baffle design that can only be accomplished through 3D printing. Made entirely of Titanium, the front module can be removed to shave two inches from the package size. Accommodating calibers up to .36, bullet-diameter-specific end caps can be easily swapped out.

Rated for calibers up to 0.36, the VERS36 Ti is capable of being used with cartridges that have bullet diameters that the ubiquitous .30 caliber suppressor simply cannot accommodate, such as 338 Lapua Mag (for which it’s rated) and 350 Legend, among others. The rear of the suppressor body is HUB compatible, meaning there’s no shortage of direct-thread and QD mounting solutions to choose from, and the replaceable end cap is available in all popular bullet-specific diameters.

Furthermore, the body of the VERS36 Ti is also modular, allowing you to remove the front section (or module) for a more compact package. In short form, the VERS36 Ti tips the scales at only 7.40 ounces, and in long form, 11.30 ounces. For a full-size rifle suppressor, that’s light … very light.

A key ingredient to its versatility, the back end of the VERS36 Ti is threaded to a HUB-compatible 1.375” x 24 TPI to support the vast array of currently available mounting solutions, of which B&T itself offers many.

Included in the box are 1/2×28 and 5/8×24 direct-thread mounts, 5.56mm and .36 caliber end caps, along with the necessary spanner wrenches to allow configuration changes. B&T USA offers a variety of mounts for separate purchase, including their Rotex flash hider and QD mount, an A2 flash hider mount, threaded recoil boosters for handgun use, and a wide range of direct-thread mounts.

The VERS36 Ti ships with both 1/2×28 and 5/8×24 direct-thread mounts, but B&T also offers QD mounting solutions, such as the A2 flash hider mount and the excellent Rotex flash hider/mount system shown here. On the handgun side, B&T offers the Impuls recoil booster in all the popular thread pitches. The VERS36Ti is rated for use with cartridges up to .338 Lapua Magnum, impressive for its featherweight design.

Testing the VERS36 Ti ran the gamut on various semi-auto host firearms, to include a Maxim Defense .308 Win AR10 (Rotex QD mount), a B&T 5.56mm APC 223 SBR (A2 QD mount), a B&T 9mm APC9K subgun (direct-thread mount), and a Kimber KDS9c 9mm handgun (Impuls recoil-booster mount). No matter the firearm, and especially in its full-size configuration, the VERS36 Ti is one of the most-quiet suppressors that On Target has ever tested. What’s more, thanks to its low-backpressure flow-through design, it induced zero malfunctions across the host firearms, nor did it create erratic ejection patterns or excessive gas in the shooter’s face — definitely a “cake and eat it too” scenario.

Extremely solid performance across a wide range of host firearms is what the VERS36 Ti brings to the table. Tested on four distinctly different platforms, to include a 16” .308 Win AR10, a B&T 10.3” 5.56mm SBR (shown), a B&T 9mm subgun, and a 9mm handgun, B&T’s new modular can produced impressive sound and signature reduction, a drastic reduction in noxious gas directed at the shooter, and zero negative impacts on the reliability of the host. It’s a win across the board.

So, what does all this technology, performance, modularity, and lightweight 100% Titanium construction cost? $999, to be exact. Comparatively speaking, there’s no other suppressor currently on the market that boasts the resume of the VERS36 Ti, and if there were, we’re guessing it would lighten your wallet by an additional few hundred dollars.
