The new micro-compact SIG Sauer P365 ($599.99) is a polymer-frame, striker-fired pistol chambered in 9mm with 10+1 round capacity. SIG SAUER’s definition of “micro pistol” means 5.8 “ L x 1.0” W x 4.3” H, with a 3.1” barrel and an empty weight of 17.8 oz. Compared to the Glock 43, it’s 0.46” shorter, 0.2” narrower and 0.2” lower and 0.15 oz. lighter, but hose four additional rounds go a long way in our book. It comes with one flush and one extended 10-round magazine for better finger wrap, and is rated for 9mm +P ammunition. An optional 12-round extended magazine brings the maximum capacity up to to 13 rounds. Other features include a black Nitron stainless steel slide, molded-in equipment rail in the dust cover and dovetailed XRAY3 Day/Night sights with drift-adjustable rear. Our staffers carried the P365 concealed, and we all fell in love with it. It’s light, doesn’t print and is a delight to shoot. This a a concealed-carry pistol that should be at the top of your list.
