Taurus 942 .22 LR Revolvers

Taurus has just introduced its new Model 942 double-action revolver. Actually two of them: one in matte stainless steel ($408.33) and the other in matte black carbon steel ($391.67). Otherwise both guns are identical. Made in Brazil, these J-frame size revolvers both feature 8-round fluted cylinders, internal transfer bar safeties, no external safeties, push-forward serrated cylinder releases, two-inch precision rifled full lug barrels, pinned black serrated ramp front sights, black drift adjustable rear sights, and black polymer grips with serrated backstop and prominent thumb ledges on both sides. Despite their all-steel construction, they are surprisingly light with empty weights of 23.60 oz. Other dimensions include overall lengths of 6.0 inches, widths of 1.34 inches and heights of 4.64 inches. Quality and fit and finish is great, and you can’t beat their affordable retail prices.
