Wilson Combat P365 Grip Modules ($65)
If you’ve been a long-time reader of On Target, you know we’re huge fans of Wilson Combat’s grip modules for SIG Sauer’s P320 model. Having spent a significant amount of time with them, we’ve been counting down the days to the release of the P365 variant. The P365 has quickly become a staff (and spouses) favorite for all the right reasons.
While the factory SIG Sauer grip module is good, Wilson Combat just does it so much better. The grip is available in several configurations; manual safety and no safety, black or tan, standard P365 or P365XL length, and any combination thereof. Just like the original, the WCP365 is compatible with Wilson’s tungsten grip weights, which can help take some of the felt recoil out of the pistol, especially with hotter duty loads. We found the grip module to be slightly fuller feeling, the signature “Starburst” grip texture to be spot-on perfect, and overall, a much more refined interface. Among the deviations from the factory module are a high-cut 1911-style beavertail grip tang, modified backstrap, undercut front strap, and reshaped/radiused trigger guard. A factory SIG mag release, spring, and lock are part of the package. For more information contact Wilson Combat; Tel.: (870) 545-3618; web: www.wilsoncombat.com
