Christensen Arms Evoke Rifle ($898.99)

The new Christensen Arms Evoke bolt action rifles are priced as entry-level guns, but boast features that go beyond standard. The line includes four models: the basic Evoke, Evoke Mossy Oak, Evoke Hunter, and Evoke Precision. The Precision will be available in late 2025.

The guns have a proprietary precision-machined receiver, adjustable TriggerTech trigger, and detachable magazines. Hand-lapped, button-rifled, and free-floated barrels are made of 416 stainless steel. They are threaded 5/8×24 and equipped with an RFR stainless muzzle brake. Stocks have an integral forward Picatinny rail section, hybrid grip angle, and swivel studs. The Hunter model adds a 0-MOA Picatinny rail for mounting a scope, while the Precision includes the rail, an adjustable carbon fiber cheek riser, a proprietary camo pattern, and a forward ARCA rail section.

Barrel lengths vary by chambering, from 16.5 to 22 inches. Basic Evoke and Mossy Oak models are chambered for a dozen popular cartridges, including the new Federal 7mm Backcountry. Hunter and Precision models are offered in fewer chamberings but include most of today’s most popular long-range hunting cartridges.
