S&W 1854 Stealth Hunter ($1399)

Smith & Wesson’s new 1854 Stealth Hunter lever-action rifle has a classic design with modern enhancements that allow users to customize their rifle to suit their preferences. These include an extended Picatinny rail for mounting optics, a threaded muzzle (11/16×24), and a new aluminum handguard with 15 M-LOK slots for attaching accessories.

Chambered for 44 Mag, 357 Mag, and 45 Colt, the gun has a large-loop lever to accommodate gloved hands. It’s equipped with a flat trigger for consistent trigger finger placement. The black synthetic stock has textured panels for a sure grip in any weather, and a removable magazine tube allows for quick unloading. Magazine capacity is eight rounds. In addition to the optic mounting rail, the rifle has an XS Sights adjustable rear ghost ring sight and a HIVIZ H3 front sight.

The rifle is fast-handling and handy in tight quarters. It weighs just 6.5 pounds, despite its stainless-steel frame, and has a 16.3-inch 410 stainless steel barrel.
