Magpul PMAG D-50 LR/SR Gen M3 Drum Magazine

If you live in one of those socialist states where the politicians think it’s a big inconvenience for criminals to swap mags after killing only ten people, Magpul’s new PMAG D-50 LR/SR Gen M3 50-round 7.62 NATO drum magazine ($149.95) will drive them up a wall. The typical AR-10 rifle uses a 20-round magazine, but having 50-rounds online is almost as good as having belt-fed M60. This rugged, lightweight 50-round polymer drum magazine can hold longer-than-SAAMI-spec match ammunition, up to 2.830” OAL, such as M118LR.

Engineered to the same standards as the Magpul PMAG and PMAG D-60 drum, the D-50 continues the PMAG tradition of high-capacity performance and dependability. It incorporates proven GEN M3 technology, including next-generation impact and crush-resistant polymer construction and the ability to seat fully loaded on a closed bolt. Stainless-steel internals withstand corrosion and long-term storage while loaded with no loss of function, spring fatigue or reliability concerns. A slip-on, semi-rigid dust cover prevents debris intrusion, and a ratcheting loading lever removes spring tension, making it easily loadable by hand. A translucent window on the rear permits positive visual identification of remaining ammunition. Weighing just 1.7 lbs empty, it is one of the lightest 7.62 NATO drums available.
