Sighttron S6 1-6x

Sighttron S6 1-6x ($TBD)

Another hot market at the moment is low power variable optics (LPVO), specifically in the 1-6x power range. Just like red dot sights, several years ago, the choices for hard-use, duty-rated scopes were a little on the slim side. Now, the competition is fierce.

Sightron weighs in with its new S6, available in two options. The 30mm main tube variant offers its reticle in the second focal plane (MOA), while the 34mm version offers its in the first focal plane (MRAD). Each model utilizes premium Japanese glass, new optical designs, and its proprietary, multi-coat lens technology that they say sets a new standard in clarity, light transmission, color accuracy, and overall image sharpness. A daylight-bright illuminated center dot on all-new IR4A and LRT reticles offers solid CQB to mid-range performance and red-dot sight functionality. The low-profile illumination dial on the left side of the scope offers 11 intensity levels with an off-position between each setting. The scopes are O-ring sealed and purged with nitrogen gas for waterproof and fog-proof performance. Pricing hasn’t been announced yet; however, we expect them to be priced competitively.
