Christensen Arms has made some incredible leaps and bounds within the bolt gun segment these last few years. Realistically, they’re simply dominating, and the recipe for their success isn’t all that difficult to understand. With that said, if it were easy, everyone would be doing it — and they’re not. Christensen Arms is well known for its carbon fiber wrapped barrels, svelte complete rifles, and now, top-quality accessories.

The FFT (Flash Forged Technology) upgrade kit is for Remington 700 actions (long and short) and features an extremely durable and lightweight FFT carbon fiber sporter stock, floor plate, and bolt knob. The short action stock weighs just barely over a pound and offers stainless steel pillars, front and rear sling studs, and a nice recoil pad. Length of pull is 13.5 inches. The FFT upgrade kit will require spot bedding of the recoil lug and possibly some slight inletting for proper installation, but with more than a pound of weight savings, it’s worth it.
